The Devizes Autumn Fair has been raising money for 3 local hospices for more than (20) years - and in this time has been able to give out thousands of pounds in support their vital work. More recently we have also supported Cancer Research UK - widening our commitment to local charities.
We hold our fair in the centre of the thriving market town of Devizes, Wiltshire and attract more than (2,000) customers each year. In the past 2 years we have also introduced an evening sale, thereby increasing the footfall and giving shoppers longer to make more buying decisions!
There are usually over 45 stalls of varied and different items for sale - including stationery, cashmere, belts, toys, clothing, scarves, jewellery, handbags, garden tools, faux flowers, chocolate, smoked fish, jams, books, fairy lights. All our stall holders are independent and are a mix of both local and further afield. We list their details on this website so that shoppers can keep in touch.
Our popular cafe serves tea and coffee, homemade cakes and light lunches and our evening sale tickets includes a glass of wine or elderflower.
The Committee is made up of around 8 hard-working volunteers and we do our best to create a friendly, welcoming and exciting fair each year - giving our shoppers the chance to do some early Christmas shopping as well as finding lovely items for theme selves.
